You may have run into a system limit. The Apache site has information on file descriptor limits.

INTERNET HOSTING PROBLEMS:

- Try going to Control Panel remove Front Page Server Extensions then reinstall Front Page Extensions.
- The fix is: call ValueWeb have them change the files service.lck also they should reset Front Page Server Extensions.
In FTP go to Web Site Root Directory......Folder .... Vti_pvt/ delete the file service.lck.
